What will the apprentice be doing?
In the first two years, whilst gaining your apprenticeship qualifications, we will be looking at the areas that you may excel in. You will learn all about our equipment with training given here on site and also at our HQ in Italy.
We are seeking someone who can understand the technicalities and processes of our equipment which will stand them a good stead in any area of our business in either sales or the service side of the company.
Daily tasks will include, but not limited to:
- Internal repairs of customer equipment.
- Trials for customers.
- Customer site visits for service of equipment.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be working on a block release programme in your first year where you will spend time at HWGTA based in Worcester and the remaining time in company.
In the achievement of the apprenticeship you will achieve a Level 3: Engineering Technician Mechatronics qualification, through the following certificates:
Foundation Competance: Practical learning in the workshop
Development Competence: Classroom theory
Development Knowledge: Working through a portfolio in company with support from an allocated Training officer.
End Point Assessment: This will be through a compmay IET who will require an interview with you to obtain your Engineering apprenticeship qualification.
Functional SKills in maths and English, if required.
You will also achieve:
Fire safety certificate
First aid trainning
Residential trip
