What will the apprentice be doing?
You will learn through engaging in real software projects, developing software tools to support in-car embedded solutions and implementing IT tools supporting the long-term business development.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Take part in the development of computer algorithm
- Design and develop embedded software in C/C++ to production delivery standards
- Perform software tests by developing automation tools (e.g. Python), simulation (e.g. 3D and vehicle dynamics), as well as live testing in vehicles
- Support optimisation of software on embedded platform
- Develop and implement IT tools to support business efficiency
- Work as part of a multi-skilled Agile team, share own knowledge and improve through feedback from other team players
- Deliver value to our customers as part of our international project teams

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
A guaranteed role at £30,000 per annum to be offered upon satisfactory completion of the four-year course and on the job performance.
