What you will do in your working day
Not just any customer Service apprenticeship. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn all there is to learn within this busy friendly community store together with learning how to serve on a Post Office counter.
Duties will include:
- Stock management
- Working the store till
- Completing the store “close”
- Providing all the Post Office services and working the Horizon system and till
- Serving customers from our small café and delicatessen (no food preparation)
- Excellent customer service
The training you will be getting
- Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
- On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard
- Regular work-based assessments/observations carried out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards

- Potential for full-time employment for the right candidate
- There are opportunities to progress from a Level 2 to a Level 3 qualification
- Many employers retain apprentices in full/part time positions
