What will the apprentice be doing?
The team deal with a wide variety of work from single PC or printer changes to wide scale multimillion pound projects spanning months to years.
Project Manager Apprentice - The Role:
The role will provide administrative support to the Programme and Project Managers.
This is an entry level position in the team with good prospects for development in the future for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Working with a Project or Programme Manager to deliver client projects.
- Reviewing and creating Project Documentation
- Assist managing financial budgets
- Recording project risks and issues in logs
- Managing and maintaining project schedules
- Organising the delivery of equipment within project schedule
- Liaising with engineers on a day-to-day basis
- Monitoring email inbox and workflow queues
- Answering the phone to customers
- Updating asset management databases
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 4 Associate Project Manager Standard
- Functional skills in Maths and English if required
- End-Point Assessment
- 8 days courses spread across 16 half-days
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Any successful candidate will have the potential opportunity to grow and develop with the company to become a full time Project Manager.
