What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working on tickets raised by customers, predominantly schools
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Installing and configuring both hardware and software
  • Shadowing senior technicians both in the workshop and onsite
  • Working a range of issues from network issues to password resets
  • Delivering a high level of customer service at all times

You'll get hands-on experience in all areas of technical support, from configuring devices to supporting with software, optimising performance, and setting up virtual environments. 

With our exciting curriculum and one-to-one support, you'll accelerate your skills and get the qualification and confidence you need to thrive in IT.

  • COURSE 1: SUPPORTING IT ARCHITECTURE
  • COURSE 2: WORKING WITH END-USER DEVICES
  • COURSE 3: WORKING WITH NETWORK ARCHITECTURE

Your training will be delivered in blocks every 4-6 weeks, this will be in our online SMART classrooms. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship you will receive a level 3 information, communications, technician qualification.

Things to consider

20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays! Once fully trained you will be provided with a work phone and tablet. Petrol and mileage paid when travelling from office to site.
