What will the apprentice be doing?

With an apprenticeship at Johnson controls you will gain new skills whilst working on exciting projects. Apprenticeships are a great way to combine work and learning, you’ll also get paid and at the end gain a nationally recognised qualification. There are plenty of opportunities to explore your potential and you’ll enjoy full support whilst learning.  We are offering a full-time permanent advanced level 3 apprenticeship for aspiring engineers. This is a genuine alternative to university for people who have a passion for engineering and who want to launch their career with us.   
  
The apprentice will work on workshop electronics systems assembly and Test whilst undertaking an agreed programme of learning & development, in conjunction with the apprenticeship course. 
Development within the company to progress to Bench Test, System Test and Field Installation & Commissioning. 

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The apprentice will be enrolled on to the Advanced Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship. The apprenticeship duration is a minimum of 3 years depending on your prior qualifications and experience.  
 
You will receive a blend of remote and in-person training during the first 3 years of the apprenticeship course.  
 
There is also the opportunity to progress on to higher or degree apprenticeships and gain further qualifications in the future to support your ongoing career development within the organisation.
