What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Telephone and email communication with customers and suppliers, with occasional face to face contact
  • Processing sales orders for customers
  • Orderign from suppliers
  • Building relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Sales support tasks such as administration, scanning, photocopying and filing
  • Stock taking

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The successful candidate will undertake Sales Executive Level 4 Apprenticeship standard
  • Business Plus at Fareham College will carry out the training. They are an Ofsted rated Outstanding College
  • This is a work-based apprenticeship and you will have an allocated Professional Coach that will visit regularly and support in the workplace

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

  • Possibility of a permanent role upon completion of apprenticeship for the right person

Things to consider

Applicants must be aged over 18 to meet health and safety requirements on site. Though the role is mainly office based it may involve some time in the on-site Warehouse (to check stock etc.).
