What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Working underneath our stock control manager
  • Stock taking
  • Picking and processing orders
  • Moving stock to different bin locations on system
  • Tracking the movement of stock from goods in to goods out
  • Liaising with line managers and director

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • This is a fully work based programme over 12 months, completing a level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative apprenticeship standard.

    You will receive support from your employer mentor throughout, as well as your training provider who will come out to your employer to deliver the standard.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Excel Food Service will offer the right candidate a full-time position with potential to progress into a senior position. You will also be offered in-house training such as fork-lift truck training and you will be given full support to develop and progress into whichever role suits you best.
