What will the apprentice be doing?
- The Chosen candidate will be working alongside our Site Manager across two schools in our federation
- Maintain the security of the premises by repairing doors, latches, and fences, to maintain a safe environment.
- Undertake daily and periodic cleaning of designated areas as directed to cover for any absence of the leaner such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, emptying bins etc. to ensure a tidy environment is maintained
- Empty recycling and food waste bins daily
- Ensure outside areas are kept free from litter, sweeping leaves, clear drains and gutters of leaves, emptying bins cutting brambles, etc to maintain a clean and tidy environment. Gritting pathways in the winter
- Be responsible for chair and table arrangements for all school functions
- Restock toilet rolls, hand towels and soap in all bathrooms
- Painting walls steps as required and directed by Site Manager
- Maintain adequate supplies of cleaning materials and supplies (light bulbs, batteries, salt) to meet the schools needs
- Assist the Site Manager across both schools as required
- Having their own car is essential for this role, as there will be an need to travel between the two schools
