What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Work as part of the technology team, to manage and maintain current systems.
  • Provide 2nd line support to EV Cargo customers.
  • Respond to, rectify, and resolve incidents within specified Service Level Agreement targets and escalate if needed.
  • Fulfil customer requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To assist and support in diagnosis and resolution of application support incidents and problems in a range of client critical software applications and find the more appropriate resolution.
  • Deployment of application enhancements.
  • Test software components.
  • Provide configuration assistance to customers and partners building solutions.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with all key stakeholders across the business.
  • Support and maintain existing applications in line with strategy and ensure they run to maximum efficiency.
  • Systems management and the monitoring of back-office server processes.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with LearnTech, delivered through combined weekly remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the L4 Applications Support Lead standard.
