What will the apprentice be doing?

As part of Buro Happold’s Security & Technology team you will develop your knowledge and skills to; 

·       Challenge existing ways of working to break new ground and to find new solutions to existing problems. 

·       Work on complex design drawings and provide workable solutions, basic knowledge of BIM technology and 3D modelling is advantageous.   

·       Manage various projects and commit to ensure deadlines are consistently met. 

· Design and specification of security systems within buildings - e.g. CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection, etc. 

· Co-ordinating engineering delivery for a range of security projects.

· Preparing Technical Specifications.

· Assuming project and resource management responsibility where appropriate.

· Ensuring senior staff are kept informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the client are achieved.

  • BEng Electronical and Electronic Engineering degree
  • London South Bank University

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

To become a Security Engineer/Consultant.
