What will the apprentice be doing?
Typical duties for this role will include:
- Using all conventional machines - lathes, millers, grinding and jig bore
- Machining using CNC millers and lathes
- CAD/CAM
- Assemble complex bespoke fixtures
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This is a 4 year Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship, Machinist pathway. The successful candidate will be required to attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, 2.5 days per week for the first two years as part of the training. Please ensure you can travel to both sites.
