11.50 per hour + discretionary bonus of £4,785 per annum. (paid in monthly intervals)

Working week
You will be working 40 hours per week, a variety of shift patterns, which will contain some evening and weekend work. Shifts can be double or single. The latest finish will be around 1.00am. Shifts over 8 hours per day are based on the candidate being over 18. Rota to be confirmed.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Prepare mise en place for starters, mains and dessert.
- Clearing tables from starters, mains and desserts dishes
once everyone at the table has finished their food - Remove any unnecessary tableware (crockery, glasses,
cutlery - Main away / middle away and double-check it any times the
table is cleared - Serve drinks or open bottles (only if allowed by the line
supervisor) - Top up water and wines always following rules and
instructions from your line supervisor - You will keep communicating between yourself and your
supervisor to assure a fluid service - Orders to be taken for drinks and desserts if authorised by
line supervisor - Re-set tables after customers left
- Make sure your station is always full with service tools
(cutlery, glasses, plates etc.) - Any extra duties like taking full food orders or opening fine
wines/champagne or VIP table service
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- All of your training will be completed within the workplace, You will be working towards the Level 2 Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship
- You will have the opportunity to work towards your Functional Skills in maths and English if you do not have the GCSEs or equivalent
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You will be supported to move into a head waiter or manager role after the apprenticeship. A natural progression route would be a Level 3 Hospitality Supervisor Apprenticeship depending on the chosen job path and if the current role supports the learning.
