What will the apprentice be doing?

  • To encourage the Children to develop their speaking and listening skills by always interacting with them
  • To maintain a face and secure environment
  • To assist at mealtimes
  • To attend Staff Meetings
  • To undertake apprenticeship training and other courses deemed necessary
  • To be familiar with and put in to practice the nursery’s policies and procedures
  • To work within a team in your room and within the nursery as a whole
  • To adhere to the dress code of the nursery (uniform provided)

About the employer

Our Nursery was first opened in 1986, in a converted Victorian House in Rushden, In January moved to a larger more suitable premises on Moor Road. We provide quality day care for up to 90 children in light, spacious rooms, The Lion Cub Room is designed for babies up to around 17 months of age, our Zebra Room from 18 months to 2.5 years of age, our Giraffe Room from 2.5 to 3 years of age and our Penguin Room for Pre School children. We have also recently added a small SEN Unit to support children with additional needs. Each room is superbly equipped for the relevant age group and provide quiet, relaxing areas as well as stimulating fun zones. Our Large outdoor areas offer fantastic opportunities for all ages.
