What will the apprentice be doing?

The apprentice will carry out the following duties:

  • Update the TCML portal with letters and notices
  • Update and deal with leaseholder requests on the TCML portal
  • Maintain supplier contracts, diarise and arrange renewal as directed
  • Ensure contractor information including insurance is maintained and monitored and kept up to date
  • Raise works orders for distribution to contractors
  • Liaison with contractors regarding maintenance issues
  • Maintain and keep updated property spreadsheets and the master spreadsheet and take action as directed.
  • Collate and scan invoices for Property Managers and Directors approval
  • Invoicing work
  • Overseeing the Portal Project from the 9th month and delegating work to the correct people
  • Greeting clients/customers
  • Going on site visits to learn about what takes place
  • Coaching learners on the Portal Project
  • Being an apprenticeship ambassador
  • Daily use of computer systems
  • Respond to leaseholder queries by letter, email and telephone inline with TCML procedures
  • Assist with the arrangement of meetings
  • Assist with taking minutes at meetings
  • Any other tasks as required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Qualification in Business Administration.
  • The day release will be held at Middlesbrough College.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

A permanent position is available upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
