We require an enthusiastic admin apprentice to join our team to concentrate on general practice administration. This will involve liaising with all team members to assist in back office tasks, as well as handling client calls and general reception duties.

What will the apprentice be doing?
We are wanting to give someone the opportunity to join our team and grow within it. Practice administration is a key component to the successful operation of our business; therefore, this role is of significance.
Successful candidates will be responsible for the handling of incoming calls into the business, and relevant call transferring/message handling. Other duties are listed below but not limited to:
- To ensure that clients’ affairs are kept up to date, properly managed and controlled.
- To communicate information to clients.
- To deal with clients on the basis of best advice and to ensure referral to appropriate employees where necessary.
- To provide ongoing client care and service management, including client visits as and when necessary.
- To effectively deal with and solve where possible client problems
- To be responsible for the correct operation of the Internal Financial Administration Procedures.
- To keep all files and papers in a safe and well-ordered manner for ease of reference.
- Data entry
- To keep regular computer back-ups of information.
- To properly operate the filing and archiving procedures.
- Keep all clients’ files and records tidy, organised and up to date and to replace archive files back where they came from.
- To ensure that all correspondence is correctly addressed.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
In addition to gaining practical experience in the role, you will also attain an NVQ Level 3 Business Admin which will help start your career and give you an insight into the businesses processes and procedures. Our training is all complete remotely via teams with a development coach who will be available for support 24/7. You receive 20% off the job training during this Apprenticeship which is included in your weekly working hours.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Long term goals to become Practice Administration Manager, as well as developing/training in Accountancy qualifications if desired.
