What will the apprentice be doing?

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be working in a small team responsible for:

  • Recording and analysis of financial data, using the company’s standard tools and processes
  • Supporting with customer and supplier queries with assistance
  • Preparation tasks for month end reporting
  • Processing customer invoicing and receipts

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will attend one day per week (day release) at Wigan and Leigh College to achieve your qualification: Assistant Accountant (Level 3) 

Alongside your college training you will also recieve internal training and support to ensure you are supported in your learning, but also developing the skills required in the workplace, and gaining insight and knowledge into internal financial software and processes. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

As well as ensuring full competency as an Assistant Accountant, the apprenticeship provides the foundation for progression into a qualified Finance Assistant role within Renovotec Ltd.
