What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Front line support to users where possible to rectify problems or enabling the support from the IT service provider acting as onsite liaison 
  • Working closely with the information security function to ensure that all IT services and controls (including those which are subcontracted) are compliant with LSHL policies and procedures and where necessary create, modify and adapt company policy and procedure to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001/2 controls 
  • Providing front line IT support to LSHL employee
  • Managing the onsite corporate network hardware and infrastructure

Tools and technologies learned: Learners will learn to use Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows 10, AWS, Linux, PowerShell.

Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment.
