What will the apprentice be doing?

As an Apprentice Mechatronic Technician, you will be trained in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.

During your apprenticeship you will work with our skilled maintenance team to make sure that our plant and machinery perform efficiently so that the factory can achieve its production targets regarding safety, quality, delivery time and cost.

This role is very diverse, you will learn to apply a complex range of skills to carry out:

  • Installation
  • Testing
  • Fault-finding
  • Planned maintenance of complicated and automated machinery

This is a 4 year apprenticeship where you will be expected to complete your HNC in Operations Engineering.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • L2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing (Foundation Competence)
  • L3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competencies) Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
  • L3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
