What will the apprentice be doing?

You will:

  • Be setting out and levelling using Total Station et al
  • Quality assure reinforced concrete pours using Fieldview
  • Check formwork and falsework under the supervision of the Temporary Works Supervisor
  • Brief operatives on risk assessments and method statements, in morning briefings and inductions
  • Lead by example and by taking personal responsibility for managing your own safety and that of others on site
  • Communicate effectively with clients during site visits and in progress reports

Additional short courses and internal training programmes, e.g. on H&S Management
