What will the apprentice be doing?

·       Supporting the Research and Development department

·       Supporting protein purification and purification of viral vectors

·       Preparation of buffers and media

·       Maintaining a clean and safe working environment adhering to health and safety procedures

·       Assist in other areas of R&D as required

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

BSc (Honours) Laboratory Science

Training will be at Comebrton (Cambs) site, with day-realease during term time to ARU Cambridge (36 days a year)

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Future prospects would be roles within the laboratory such as Research Scientist within R&D – Chemistry, Analytical, Upstream processing and protein purification.
