What will the apprentice be doing?

Responsibility for supporting the Office Manager in the day to day management of the engineers

Answer all calls in a professional timely manner

Maintain high levels of communication at all levels

Actively listen to the customer

Obtain and evaluate all relevant information from the enquiry

Document all relevant details onto the system

Organise and plan the engineers visit to meet the customer’s time frame

Ensure that all the correct information is placed on the engineers calendar

To communicate with customers in regards to the commencement and progression of scheduled works

Managing the engineers activity on a daily basis

Responsible for the accurate inputting of the relevant data on to the company database.

Ensuring that all materials are purchased and on site for commencement of works

Ensuring the prompt invoicing of completed works

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the teams.

Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times throughout the branch.

Maintain high levels of communication at all levels throughout the branch.

Undertake any such other duties as may be reasonably requested within the purview of the role

Business Administration Level 3 

Off the job training to take place at Oldham College one day a week
