What will the apprentice be doing?

As a stepping stone to a career in law, this is an excellent opportunity!

Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers, willingness to lend a hand to other staff members in a busy office and a desire to get on and learn is more important than anything else.

Assisting with administration in the Conveyancing Department – to include post opening, scanning, filing, audio typing, taking dictation, drafting simple letter correspondence, dealing with Lenders on the telephone and by fax and email, obtaining redemption statements for mortgages.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

EKC Group - attending online monthly workshops.

Maths and English Functional Skills if required. 

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Excellent prospects for a candidate that is willing to learn and improve themselves. Licenced Conveyancing exams as well as Legal Executive exams will lead to qualification as a lawyer should the candidate show the desire and ability.
