What will the apprentice be doing?

Main responsibilities:

  • Answering calls from our retail base of customers and also some members of the public
  • Dealing with customer queries/questions via telephone and email
  • Know your way around the system to answer queries and give information on stock and account balances and back orders
  • Liaise with other departments when necessary to get the information you need
  • Get to know the products we sell to be able to talk about them and help customers as necessary
  • A few general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, greeting visitors

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Level 1 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
