What will the apprentice be doing?
- As an apprentice you will gather the knowledge and skills working on all marine crafts
- As an electrician you will be involved in tasks in the boat yard working on engines, parts and systems
- You will be part of a team that works towards building top quality products

- Marine Electrician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- City & Guilds 2473 Level 2 & 3 in Marine Electrical incl. Business Improvement techniques (BIT)
- British Marine Electrical Training (BMET)
- Marine Electronic Installer (MEI)
- VHF licence
- Manufacturers’ technical training including market leaders Raymarine and Garmin
- Student membership of IMarEST (the marine industry professional body)
- On successful completion of End Point Assessment apprentices are Eng.Tech ready
- Sponsored to complete Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award (voluntary)
