What will the apprentice be doing?

Gain experience in a support role in each of our three departments; involves:

  • Reception duties
  • Raising orders
  • Arranging surveys
  • Managing after sales and service calls
  • Ordering products
  • Checking deliveries
  • Raising invoices
  • Chasing payments

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.

In-house training will be provided on an ongoing daily basis with the current finance team. You will not be required to attend Dudley College premises as the course is delivered in the workplace only.

An assessor will be allocated to you to progress/help you through you course. Continual assessments, coupled with assignments/or exams depending on course of study. Time spent training will be part of the agreed contracted hours of the working week.

At the end of your training, you will sit an exam and submit course work as part of your assessment, and you will receive a Level 3 qualification.

Employer will provide on the job training in each department with an experienced member of staff.

We can offer an apprentice valuable skills within each of our three departments; sales (including marketing), business support (including accounts and HR) and operations (including installation & aftersales), providing valuable skills within all aspects of business administration. The position would be within our busy head office in Coseley, giving the candidate experience dealing with other professionals as well as working with the general public. We have an established team, who would provide support for the candidate to reach their full potential and identify which area of business they enjoy, with an aim for them to further their career. We have successfully recruited and supported apprentices in the past, who have been offered further employment once the apprenticeship ends.
