What will the apprentice be doing?
- Our Apprenticeship Programmes are a great way to earn and learn! We offer you the ideal mix of developing hands-on engineering experience in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment alongside gaining a formal engineering qualification.
- Working alongside our Power and Temperature Control teams, you’ll be involved in the planning, installation and maintenance of power generation, refrigeration, cooling and heating equipment.
- This will include generators, battery packs, fluid chillers, air conditioning units, heaters, and boilers.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You’ll follow a three-year apprentice programme linked to a course of study at Wiltshire College which will, at a minimum, lead to the attainment of an NVQ level 3 Maintenance and operations engineering technician qualification.
Training will be delivered once a week.
Functional skills if required.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Typical off scheme role: By the end of this programme, you will take up a depot engineer or field engineer role, where you will be able to put your skills to action.
Role expectations post apprenticeship: On completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will join either your local team or take up a field-based role.
