What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance on all types of light goods vehicles
  • Using a range of specialist technical equipment
  • Carrying out routine stock maintenance procedures
  • Communicating directly with customers and suppliers
  • Maintaining good health & safety standards in the workplace

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Level 2 Autocare Technician Standard
  • Functional Skills in English & maths (if required)

With mentoring, support and monitoring whilst at work, combined with residential training at the Atcham Training Centre, you will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to achieve your qualification

All travel, and accommodation costs are covered by the employer, whilst attending the training centre.
