An excellent opportunity to join Option Energy Solutions as a Gas Apprentice. You will be trained in all aspects of domestic gas installation, service, and repair and work and learn alongside a qualified, experienced gas engineer. As part of this apprenticeship, you will attend Steve Willis Training one day a week.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Option Energy Solutions are looking for enthusiastic individuals who collaborate well in a team environment, are reliable and have the determination to work and study hard.
You will work as part of a team:
- Installing domestic gas systems and appliances
- Commissioning domestic gas systems and appliances
- Decommissioning domestic gas systems and appliances
- Servicing domestic gas systems and appliances
- Maintaining domestic gas systems and appliances
- Installing heat pumps
As part of the apprenticeship, you will also learn and undertake heating installations within homes from start to finish and maintenance of such systems.
You will work alongside a Gas Safe Registered engineer or a Heating Engineer throughout your apprenticeship.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will study for the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering (9074).
Training will be provided by Steve Willis Training in Burgess Hill. Theory / workshop-based learning will take place there on a day-release basis.
On-site learning will be assessed by Steve Willis Training's team of assessors, and the employer.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
On successful completion of the apprenticeship a full time position may be available for the right candidate.
