About the employer

Cathedral View Childcare is a small scale childcare provider that opened in November 2018 near the centre of Ely, Cambridgeshire. The setting, a converted residential property, is designed to give children a place to thrive that truly is a “home from home” environment. Our intention is to provide a childcare option that bridges the gap between a large scale day nursery and a childminder setting. With over 10 years of Early years and Childcare experience, our owner/manager Hayley is qualified in all aspects of childcare from birth to 19 years. In addition to this she has completed a large number of additional training courses and most recently has worked within a local primary school, therefore having full knowledge of what’s required to ensure children are ready for school. All of our other staff members each have a vast amount of childcare experience and qualifications. Our setting provides a natural, calm, hygge environment full of open ended natural resources. The setting comprises of a sensory room, a baby room and a larger space which provides free-flow access into our enclosed garden area. We are in an optimum location to be able to explore the local area and being a smaller scale setting the opportunity to do so will be more readily available.
