    The remuneration package will include a competitive salary and employer pension contribution, 25 days annual leave (with the option to buy/sell up to five days), well-being bonus and a wide variety of flexible benefits.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Understanding the fundamentals of BIM (Building Information Modelling)
  • Assisting others on Project Information Models
  • Learning how to use authoring software (Revit)
  • Learning engineering principles and design processes (basic)
  • Assisting engineers with technical issues relating to the delivery of information
  • Attendance/talks for CPD record
  • Supporting the team on the latest innovations in digital engineering

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

You will: 

  • Work with us full-time
  • Attend a training college for part-time study 
  • Gain a level 3 qualification in Digital Engineering Technician.

The following qualifications will be gained:

  • English and Maths will be required to be demonstrated at Level 2;
  • BTEC Level 3  Construction and the Built Environment or Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Built Environment Design.

 

Our lively Bristol office based next to the iconic Wapping Wharf will welcome you into our MEP team. MEP involves systems such as electrical generation, low voltage distribution, small power, lighting, data, life safety, security, ventilation, domestic water, drainage, heating and cooling. Alongside our apprentice and seniors, you will be supporting the team on the latest innovations of digital engineering to solve complex engineering challenges and design solutions. BIM Modelling allows for you to input any engineering content in any form enabling you to design and visualise buildings collaboratively using 3D models and information.

We fully fund you throughout your studies, supporting you through mentoring, as well as on-the-job training through ‘The Learning Curve’.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

We aim to support your career development, creating the best learning experiences throughout your time with us.  After gaining a level 3 qualification, this will allow for further opportunities to work towards chartership and acquire a range of skills leading to more senior positions within our company!
