What will the apprentice be doing?

Your duties will be: Assisting in the production process, including setting up and operating textile machinery. Learning the different stages of textile production, such as weaving, dyeing, printing, and finishing. Monitoring the quality of the manufactured textiles to ensure they meet company standards. Keeping the production area clean, organised, and free of hazards. Collaborating with other team members to meet production targets and resolve any issues that arise. Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on textile machinery. Keeping accurate records of production processes and materials used. Assisting in the development and testing of new product designs. Participating in training and development opportunities to expand skills and knowledge.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

BTEC and NVQ in Performing Manufactoring Operations including Functional Skills if required.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Company will offer you a full-time opportunity after the successful completion of your apprenticeship. As well, you will have a promotion to a senior position, which will lead to a payroll rise.
