What will the apprentice be doing?
Achieve a valuable degree and the start of a great career
Join us on the Manufacturing Degree Apprenticeship and you’ll work across a variety of manufacturing teams to gain an understanding of equipment, processes and technologies. Gain hands-on experience, learning from skilled team members from all areas of the site. Day-to-day tasks that you will be responsible for could include:
- Running production lines and leading our production teams
- Providing support at our Flowerworld site at peak trading times, such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day
- Finding solutions to improve the efficiency of production lines
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As well as learning on-the-job, you’ll also be studying towards a BSc (Hons) Management and Business at the University of Bradford. Balancing work and a degree course will be challenging. To support your learning, we will offer you study leave so you can complete your assignments and concentrate on your university studies. At the end of the 3 year scheme you will gain a full chartered membership of the CMI (Chartered Management Institute).
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
By the end of the scheme, you will have the skills and experience needed to progress into a Shift Manager role within one of our manufacturing sites.
