What will the apprentice be doing?

Ensure a smooth running off the office with guidance from the Office Manager, such as: 

  • Stock taking - Stationery and refreshments
  • General filing, plot filing and archiving
  • Organising and franking post on time for collection
  • Ensure General Office is tidy and organised at all times
  • Monitor the appearance of the Reception area and replenish as necessary
  • Prepare stationery requests ready to be sent out to the various sites
  • Set up for all meetings as necessary
  • Ensure the Board Room is tidy at all times
  • Reception cover when needed - breaks, holidays and sickness
  • Assist all departments as necessary such as filing / photocopying / admin
  • Assist Office Administrator when needed

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Functional Skills in maths, English if required
  • Regular training and development sessions to meet the needs of the employer and the apprentice
