Working within our Business Services team, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing statement of accounts for our customers using our Microsoft Excel templates and Sage Line 50. An aptitude for figures and maths is essential. The role requires the ability to prioritise and work efficiently to ensure service level agreements are maintained, liaising with our suppliers and customers, by telephone and email and candidate will also be trained on how to log invoices and consumption data.

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Liaising with our suppliers and customers, by telephone and email, the role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The role requires the ability to prioritise and work efficiently to ensure service level agreements are maintained
- The successful candidate will be conversant in Microsoft Office applications – particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Where appropriate, the successful applicant will also be required to follow up queries with our suppliers and customers by telephone and email and bring the queries to a successful resolution and so excellent communication skills are required.
- The candidate will also be trained on how to log invoices and consumption data
- Administrative skills are also required for the role as the successful candidate will be required to navigate our database (ACT! By Sage) and accurately maintain company records
- The role requires the ability to prioritise and work efficiently to ensure service level agreements are maintained
- The successful candidate will be conversant in Microsoft Office applications – particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
- The candidate should have excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain concentrated during long tasks
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Business Administration-Level 3
- Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and maths, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment
Training will be provided in the work place, and lessons will be carried out 1 day per week at Oldham College.
