What will the apprentice be doing?

You’ll be supported every step of the way, by your line manager and mentor.

You will be working on the bigger picture of our business, introducing change and digital solutions.

You will play the key role of collaborating with stakeholders, interacting with customers, and all in all, supporting all aspects of supply and exchange.

You will use project and transformation management principles and tools to identify and lead the delivery of change across our organisational functions and processes.

The programme will allow you to tackle issues that may require swift problem solving or re-occurring challenges that require in-depth analysis and the implementation of a range of effective and sustainable countermeasures.

What you will learn:

  • How to identify potential opportunities, diagnosing issues, proposing solutions, and implementing changes and controls
  • Stakeholder identification, analysis, and management (RACI). Change curve, resistance characteristics, change sponsorship, compelling point of view
  • How to support application of techniques to identify and prioritise customers, their requirements and ensure balance against the stated and unstated needs of the business (Voice of the Business)

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Within our Strategy and Regulation Transformation team you will complete the Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship standard,  allowing you to develop the skills & experience required to become an expert within our Strategy and Regulation Transformation  team.  You’ll combine on-the-job learning with formal, nationally recognised development training. A Personal Development Plan will help drive your career progression, set, agreed & regularly reviewed with your line manager.
