What will the apprentice be doing?

Daily Duties:

  • Prepare and contribute to manufacturing operations.
  • Follow manufacturing process.
  • Adhere to specific safe working.
  • Maintain health and safety.
  • Maintain an organised area.
  • Safe disposal of waste.
  • Carry out checks and highlight defects.
  • Using hand and power tools.
  • Cut and assemble frames.
  • Installing glass.
  • Adding handle, locks etc.
  • Cleaning.
  • Inspecting and packaging.
  • Any other duties.

Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship Standard

No requirements to attend college, all training will be delivered in the workplace.
