What will the apprentice be doing?

TGB Sheds are committed to staff development. The business has continued to grow over the last few years and the opportunity is now available to train a new group of people to become part of their manufacturing team.

You will be trained on a variety of power tools and how to manufacture timber buildings from start to finish.

With College support, we will ensure you have all the skilled needed in this industry.

Job duties will include training on;

·         Use of power tools

·         Different departments to give an all rounded knowledge

·         Working with wooden panels

·         Adding and installing handles, hinges and windows

·         Business processes and procedures

·         How to keep safe at all times

Through a proactive and enthusiastic approach, you will help the TGB Sheds achieve their mission to provide highly skilled craftsmen for the future of their business.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2
  • Weekly Day Release at North Notts College and work based assessment.
  • Functional Skills in maths Level 1 (if required)
  • Functional Skills in English Level 1 (if required)

Full-time employment and progression to higher education.
