What will the apprentice be doing?
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Assisting with transport planning assessment-related projects, including context review, policy research, survey specification, data analysis, modelling and report drafting.
Assisting on transport planning design related projects, including simple concept layouts, vehicle tracking and technical study report drafting.
You will learn to use an extensive suite of modelling, data analytics and CAD applications and be challenged to improve the skills you learn.
You will be working alongside the rest of the Transport Planning team and teams of all disciplines nationally and internationally across the Ramboll Group.
Apply and promote policies relating to health and safety and quality.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
This apprenticeship will provide a transport planning technician level 3 qualification equivalent to an A-Level and will set you up for university and/or your future aspirations.
The training will be carried out at Leeds College of Building. The course will last 30 months, with the training being either on a day-release or block-release basis.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
With this apprenticeship, you will have a wide range of choices for your future career.
Leaving with over two years of work experience and a level 3 qualification, you would be prepared to go to university, enter another apprenticeship, or find a position within your chosen field.
