The nursery is located in Patcham and they are looking for an individual that is confident, completed their Level 2 Early Years or min one year nursery experience. Duties include: Meeting the individual needs of the children.

What will the apprentice be doing?
• Delivering high quality care and education to the children
• Leading a team of staff and managing the room daily
• Being a key person to a small group
• Meeting the individual needs of the children
• Working alongside a team and create an exciting working environment for all
• Communicating with parents and colleagues
• Creating new and exciting activities for the children
• Being a positive role model.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Over the course of 18 months, you will study units such as health & safety in a childcare setting, holistic child development, safeguarding in a childcare setting, child development, communication with children, purposeful play and educational programmes, supporting children with special educational needs, collaborative working in early years childcare, wellbeing principles for children and at higher levels, child protection, data, supporting key life transitions and behaviour management (these modules may differ).
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve a Level 3 Early years education qualification, a TQUK Diploma in Early Years, and a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid qualification.
