What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Maintain the safety, integrity, and effective operation of RWC assets, plant, and equipment, including activities such as installation, testing, servicing, removal, replacement, maintenance and repair of automated assembly and mould/press tooling
  • To facilitate the design and/or build of Press and Injection Mould tools
  • To facilitate the design and/or build of Automated Assembly equipment
  • To operate all machines and processes in accordance with accepted and documented procedures. Using a wide range of tools and equipment and demonstrate the ability to maintain those tools in a safe and operational condition
  • Trained to develop your skills & knowledge in the operation of inspection techniques & manufacturing process, the injection moulding process & the use of moulding machines, ancillary equipment, various tool types & raw material

  • Advanced Level Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Level 3 (A level)
  • Training will take place both at work and at college
  • Additional training may be available for apprentices looking to specialise
  • 42 months programme

Once qualified, you can work in your chosen field or continue further study.
