What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Investigate new technologies and their suitability to us
  • Create technical specifications which can be understood by non-technical people
  • Develop existing systems by analysing and identifying areas for modification
  • Write and test code, refining and rewriting, rollout and storing
  • Maintain systems by monitoring and correcting software defects 
  • Continually update your technical knowledge and skills
  • You will be working in an office environment and so good communication skills are key as you will collaborate frequently with many members of staff

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Once settled into the business, we would select the level 6 Digital and technology solutions professional course for you to enrol onto at LSBU.

You do not need to pay for any training costs and therefore this is an excellent way to get a degree for free.

The salary builds quickly as it is an apprenticeship programme. By the end of the apprenticeship, the salary is estimated to be £32,000 per annum.
