Payroll Apprentice ICS UMBRELLA PAY LTD
The role is an exciting opportunity to learn all things payroll whilst attaining a payroll qualification. You will be part of the payroll where you will be supported by the payroll team to develop your skills and become a fully-fledged payroll professional.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Total hours per week: 37.5

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Answering the phone and dealing with queries where appropriate
- Responding to email queries
- Entering expense claims
- Producing invoices for payment
- Clearing down recon sheets
- Ad hoc administrative duties, to include sorting and filing
- Be involved and support the Payroll team in payroll related projects
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will achieve your Level 3 Business Administration Qualification
A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, (18 months including endpoint assessment) topics covered include:
- The Organisation
- Value of their skills
- Relevant regulation
- Business fundamentals
- External environmental factors
- Record and document production
- Decision making
- Interpersonal skills
- Planning and organisation
- Project management
You may need to complete level 2 maths and English Functional skills (if you cannot evidence prior grades)
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progression to payroll administrator.
