What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Answering the telephone & taking messages correctly
  • Greeting clients
  • Ensuring we have a stock of enquiry packs & care & maintenance guides
  • Ensuring the showroom looks presentable at all times
  • Ordering of supplier brochures & stationary
  • Taking client details
  • Entering client details onto EQ
  • Emailing new clients, the enquiry pack & 360 tour
  • Book survey & presentation appointments with the client and email appointment confirmations
  • Typing up of contracts and preparation of paperwork
  • Set up customer files
  • Raise customer quotes on EQ    
  • Order processing for worktops, furniture and appliances (Scan, email and place POs)
  • Setting out plan dimensions after survey

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • End Point Assessment (EPA)
  • Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and maths, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment
