The soft services team is nationwide, supporting and managing over 500 employees, offering you a great platform to network within Phosters but also externally with contractors and suppliers. You will support with the administration of arranging schedules, tracking works, raising purchase orders etc.

What will the apprentice be doing?

If you are looking for an apprenticeship to gain experience in HR, Learning & Development, Operations and Finance, this is a great opportunity for you.

Phosters have had apprentices in this role previously, who have successfully completed their business administration apprenticeship and are now in a more senior role completing a further apprenticeship.

Specific tasks include:

  • Implementation of a new online training programme
  • Onboarding of new staff
  • Raising purchase orders for contractors & suppliers
  • Arranging schedules for members of the team
  • Using client based systems to track works

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

One day a week studying, onsite at Kidderminster College, in order to achieve the Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
