Field Service Engineer Apprenticeship KOHLER UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER LIMITED
We are offering an apprenticeship to become an Uninterruptible Power Supplies Field Service Engineer. You’ll learn the skills required to install, service and repair equipment out in the field. We’ll be making a big investment in your learning and development, providing study and hands on training to ensure your apprenticeship is successful. Duties include shadowing our engineers in the field and training at our warehouse.

Annual wage
£13,320.00
Pay increase each year. Once qualified our Field Service Engineers can earn a salary in excess of £35000 including pay enhancements.

Working week
- 1st year = full time at college Monday-Friday, hours to be confirmed. - 2nd-4th year = 1 day at college, 4 days working alongside engineers. Working hours 8.30am-5.00pm (overtime paid outside these hours). - Overtime available from 2nd year.

1st Year - Full time at Kingston College
- 4 days a week - Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering
- 1 day a week - 1st year of the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
2nd Year
- 1 day a week - 2nd year of the BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
- 4 days a week - shadowing our engineers in the field, training at our warehouse and secondment experience with other departments.
- Gaining evidence for you NVQ Apprentice qualification
3rd Year
- 1 day a week - 1st year of the BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in General Engineering
- 4 days a week - shadowing our engineers in the field, training at our warehouse and secondment experience with other departments.
- Gaining evidence for you NVQ Apprentice qualification
4th Year
- 1 day a week - 2nd year of the BTEC Level 4 Higher National Certificate in General Engineering
- 4 days a week - shadowing our engineers in the field, training at our warehouse and beginning to take on sole technician roles.
- NVQ Apprentice qualification final assessment
