What will the apprentice be doing?
- Process HR administrative tasks from employee onboarding to departure
- Prepare and issue relevant documentation such as contracts, letters, etc.
- Assist with the preparation of all relevant data for Payroll in a timely manner
- Input all staff information on our HR system ensuring this is always kept up-to-date
- Keep employee’s electronic files up to date
- Monitor and manage the HR Support and Talent inbox, ensuring emails are responded to in a timely manner or escalated to the HR Business Partner for support
- Post vacancies on agreed recruitment channels
- Collate HR survey data such as exit interviews, equality questionnaires, etc.
- Identify improvements to employee life cycle events to the HR Business Partner
- Provide administrative support on an ad-hoc and project basis as necessary
- Undertake a Level 3 Business Apprenticeship and apply learnings and best practice to the role
- Note taking at formal meetings, e.g. disciplinary, grievance, redundancy
- Maintain confidentiality and follow data protection legislation
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
To meet the requirements of the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship programme, you will need to spend 6 hours a week of your time undertaking off-the-job learning, which will include:
- Formal training, including online learning and internal learning events
- 1-2-1s with your coach and line manager
- Observing and shadowing colleagues
- Writing up learning reflections for your portfolio
Where a business administrator has not already achieved Level 2 English and maths, they must do so before taking the end-point assessment.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full-time employment within the Quarto team.
