What will the apprentice be doing?
List of duties:
- Checking deliveries and stock coming into stores
- Loading Engineers vans with stock
- Picking Orders
- Updating and maintaining stock on Computer Systems
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The successful applicant will complete the Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship Standard. This apprenticeship is designed for Warehouse Operatives working in the goods in and out sector.
The successful applicant will be supported to become skilled and competent in core skills and knowledge.
Following enrolment, learners engage in a blended programme of training and support that will include attendance at group training sessions, self-directed learning, email and face-to-face support from their trainer/assessor as well as a programme of training devised by the employer.
Functional skills - This provides practical skills to help learners gain the most out of work, education and everyday life and is assessed by the completion of written and online tests.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
