What will the apprentice be doing?

Responsible for supporting child initiated and adult led activities based around the needs and interests of each individual child, supporting children's learning through planned purposeful play opportunities and educational programmes, and working as part of a team to ensure each child feels safe and secure.

Work in partnership with others, parents,carers.

  • A typical day can look like:

  • Set up our environment for the day
  • Meet & greet parents/carers and children , helping them settle into the day
  • Preparing snacks/lunch
  • Nappy changing / helping with toilet needs
  • Providing planned activities to support each childs development
  • Risk assessing environment
  • Cleaning environment /toys throughout the day

My name is Helen Devilleand I have been running my childcare business for 15years , I am a qualifiedpractitioner in Early Years.We are open 8 AM / 6PMMon to Thurs.We operate from a largepurpose built cabin in our large enclosed garden.We care for children age3mths up to 11years , and follow the EYFS to nurture and support each childsdevelopment.We are governed by OFSTED .
