About the employer

We’re often asked how the nursery started and the simple answer is that the owner couldn’t find somewhere that was quite right for her family at the time. At that point she was working full time, pregnant, had 2 young boys, 6 months and 3 years old and was feeling just a teensy, little bit stretched. There were places that would have been good for the baby and others that would have been great at preparing the 3 year old for school but nowhere that was right for both. Opening hours were too short, schedules too rigid and outdoor play areas were laughably small so she took the plunge, did a lot of research, mortgaged the cat and set up Angels by Day. Now, we’re proud to be known as one of the best nurseries in Nottingham!
